thepanelist generates synthetic consumer personas, simulates focus group deliberative debates, and synthesizes qualitative feedback using advanced artificial intelligence and statistical demographic distributions.

The service is designed specifically as a rapid, directional exploration and hypothesis-testing instrument. It provides early signal and adversarial pressure-testing before capital deployment. It is not an empirical survey platform, does not sample living human respondents, and is not a substitute for formal human subject research or clinical validation.

Persona responses, qualitative debate turns, and tradeoff preference estimates are probabilistic outputs generated by foundation models. While we enforce strict quality invariants, entropy bounds, and real-customer grounding, simulated responses may not identically predict actual human consumer adoption, purchasing choices, or real-world behavior.

You agree that you will not use synthetic panel output as the sole determinant for high-stakes financial, legal, medical, regulatory, or personal safety commitments. You remain solely responsible for validating directional findings with real human customers before executing significant business decisions.

You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and respect the following boundaries:

• No fraudulent impersonation: You will not attempt to generate personas designed to impersonate specific, living individuals without their explicit written consent.
• No harmful or discriminatory generation: You will not submit briefs or questions intended to produce hate speech, defamatory material, or unlawful content.
• System integrity: You will not reverse-engineer, systematically scrape, or attempt to overwhelm the API infrastructure supporting the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these safety standards.

You own your data: You retain complete ownership of all briefs, uploaded documents, customer transcripts, and proprietary project materials submitted to the platform.

Generated deliverables: Between you and thepanelist, all synthesized reports, persona profiles, executive slide decks, and data exports created through your account belong to you.

Operational license: You grant us a limited, secure, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your material solely to provide and maintain your requested panel sessions. We never sell your data or use your confidential research to train foundation AI models.

We continually enhance our statistical models, multi-agent debate protocols, and reporting workflows. While we strive for uninterrupted service availability, theplatform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted uptime.

Scheduled maintenance windows and system improvements will be conducted with advance notice where feasible.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, thepanelist, its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or any loss of business profits, goodwill, or operational data resulting from your use of or reliance on synthetic panel outputs.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under or related to these terms shall not exceed the greater of fifty U.S. dollars ($50) or the total fees paid by you to thepanelist in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident.

You may stop using the service and terminate your account at any time directly through your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Upon account deletion, all active panels, personas, and document embeddings are immediately purged from our active systems.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

In the event of any disagreement or dispute, both parties agree to first attempt informal, good-faith resolution by contacting each other directly before initiating formal proceedings.
