A synthetic consumer panel is a set of AI-generated personas built to answer questions the way a described audience — a customer segment, a job title, a demographic — plausibly would. Instead of recruiting and surveying real people, you describe who you want feedback from, and the panel generates personas grounded in that description.
Why it matters
Real panels take time and money to recruit, especially for narrow or early-stage audiences that don't have an established respondent pool. A synthetic panel removes that recruiting step entirely, trading statistical certainty for speed — useful when a directional read today is worth more than a validated one in three weeks.
How it works on thepanelist
