Adoption stance is a trait describing how a given persona tends to respond to something new — ranging from resistant (skeptical, slow to change habits) to enthusiastic (quick to try new tools). A "resistant persona" is one defined toward the skeptical end of that range.
Why it matters
A panel's average reaction to a new feature or product can hide a real split between personas who'd adopt readily and ones who'd need convincing. Tracking adoption stance separately from the raw answer lets you see whether a positive average is broad enthusiasm or a narrow group of early adopters carrying the score.
